57-59 Darlinghurst Road, Potts Point — Heritage Building Restoration
Remedial Repairs and Rendering
The non-sandstone sections of the building were suffering from deterioration and required extensive render repairs. We carefully reconstructed large rendered areas, including intricate detailing at the top of the building, to match the original construction design.

Rebuilding Decorative Elements
One of the key challenges was recreating the ornate rendered features that had been damaged over time. Our skilled team restored these elements, bringing back the building’s original architectural character and charm.

Exterior Painting
Once the remedial and rendering works were completed, we carried out a full exterior repaint of the rendered surfaces, giving the building a refreshed and elegant appearance while using heritage-appropriate colours and finishes.

Heritage Complianceleaning
Strict guidelines had to be followed to preserve the original sandstone facade, which meant all work had to be carefully planned to avoid impact on protected elements.

Rope Access & Difficult Access Solutions
Using rope access techniques, our team reached every part of the building without the need for heavy scaffolding, minimizing disruption to residents and reducing the project's environmental footprint.

Render Reconstruction
The rebuilding of the top sections required skilled tradesmen to recreate historic render designs, ensuring they matched the building's original heritage features.
